The floor
Floor workers don't get logins. They get a kiosk. A worker walks up to a terminal, enters their employee ID, picks their line, taps the items they need, and submits. The store clerk gets a notification and prepares the order, fulfilling it opens a pre-filled transaction, so the record writes itself. No accounts, no passwords, no training, no per-seat fees.
Every large factory has ghost machines, equipment the spreadsheet says is on Line 5 that's actually on Line 12, or gone. TraceIT's mobile scanning page fixes this with a ten-minute daily walk: a supervisor selects a line, scans the machines on it, and submits. Moved machines are relocated automatically, with history logged, and the Assets view flags anything that hasn't been scanned recently.
Multi-site operations
Parts and machines move between sites through a proper workflow, not WhatsApp messages: request, approval, dispatch with a QR-coded dispatch note, and confirmation at the other end. At the gate, security guards verify the shipment on a login-free mobile page, scan the QR, see what should be on the truck, sign on screen, with GPS and timestamp recorded. By design, the guard's confirmation never completes the transfer; the receiving site must confirm separately. Two independent confirmations, every time.
Built in, not bolted on
Every receipt and transfer recalculates Moving Average Cost automatically, pack sizes included. Stock valuation, cost per line, and cost per machine come straight out of the data. No spreadsheet reconciliation, ever.
Goods receipts flow in via webhook API or scheduled file uploads, with API keys and a full import log. Purchasing stays where it is; TraceIT becomes the accountable record of what actually arrived and where it went.
