LIFECYCLE INTELLIGENCE FOR INDIRECT SPEND · SELF-SETUP IN MINUTES

Your indirect spend is leaking.
TraceIT shows exactly where.

Everything you buy that isn't raw material, tracked from goods-in to final use on a ledger no one can edit. The leak becomes visible, explained, and accountable.

15–20%

of indirect spend leaks away where nothing watches it. McKinsey found industrial companies cut indirect costs 15–20% within 12–18 months of gaining visibility and control. Left unwatched, the loss repeats every year. Read the research →

The leak nobody budgets for

Untracked purchases don't disappear. They leak.

Raw materials get costed to the gram, because they sit in the product. But everything else, spares, consumables, supplies, tools, is bought, received, and then trusted to a register at a store window and a spreadsheet that never matches the shelf. The result shows up as four words on every ops review:

Wastage Pilferage Overstocking Corruption

The problem isn't your people. It's that your system lets numbers be changed instead of explained. Not knowing isn't neutral, it's a black hole.

How it works

Three things no other system does.

01 · The immutable ledger

Nobody types a stock number. Quantities change only through recorded transactions, each carrying a person, a reason, a timestamp, and a cost, enforced by the database itself and impossible to edit after the fact.

02 · Three-tier tracking

Conventional tools know an item left the warehouse. TraceIT knows where it went: floating at Line 3 or installed on machine JK-4510, which is what makes cost per machine answerable.

Tier 1
Warehouse
bins · stock · reorder levels
Tier 2
Line / Department
floating floor inventory
Tier 3
Machine / Asset
installed on JK-4510

03 · One screen for everything

Issue, replace, and return happen in one form, submitted once, with stock validation inline. Daily movements need no approvals; only corrections do.

Fifteen seconds, start to finish

Watch a request become a record.

A worker taps their ID at the kiosk. The store clerk gets the notification. Fulfilling it opens a pre-filled transaction (person, items, line, reason, cost) and the ledger gains a row nobody can ever edit. That loop is the whole product.

Proven at group scale

22 plants. 3 countries. Live in one day.

One apparel group's deployment: thousands of sewing machines and their spares, replacing registers and spreadsheets with one ledger. The savings split two ways: $1.2M of excess stock surfaced the moment visibility went central, and over $500K of purchases were avoided by transferring existing stock between plants instead of raising new POs.

$1.8M
savings identified through overstocking visibility alone
24hrs
go-live, from first meeting to operational system
22
plants connected with cross-location stock visibility
100%
audit trail, every spare part movement digitally tracked
Spreadsheets across 22 plants, replaced in a single day. The excess stock surfaced at onboarding was worth roughly fourteen years of the group's TraceIT subscription.

Pricing

$1 per tracked unit per year. Unlimited users.

A unit is anything you track: one machine, one SKU, or one person. The only question we ask is whether a year of visibility on it is worth a dollar.

$1 / unit / year

plans from $2,000/year · everything included · unlimited users
enterprise agreements at scale, same per-unit price, never a quote cycle

2,000 machines$2,000
800 SKUs$800
300 employees$300
Mid-size manufacturer, 5 plants$3,100 / year
$1 watches a $1,500 machine all year0.07% of the asset
$1 against one operator's annual costunder 0.05%
$1 on a SKU moving $500/yr through stores0.2% of its flow
The dollar testis knowing worth $1?

Compare that to a CMMS at $16–75 per user per month: the same operation with 30 users pays $6,000–$27,000 a year, and the floor still doesn't get access.

Run your own numbers

Your cost. Your leak. Side by side.

Count what you'd track, add your annual indirect spend, and compare the subscription against what the research says is recoverable.

Open the calculator

spares, consumables, supplies, tools, everything that isn't raw material

Tracked units3,100
Estimated annual leak while unwatched$100,000 – $200,000
TraceIT subscription / year$3,100
leaving the leak unwatched costs ~48× the subscription, every year

We sell visibility, not guaranteed savings. The leak estimate uses McKinsey's published 10–20% range for what unwatched indirect spend gives up each year. One-time recoveries, like the $1.2M of excess stock our anchor customer surfaced at onboarding, come on top. Visibility's job is making sure the loss does not quietly repeat. Read the research →

FAQ

Straight answers.

Can I try it without talking to anyone?
Yes. Sign up, run the six-step setup wizard (organization, site, team, CSV imports for items, assets and lines), and you are transacting the same day. The demo is optional: book one if you want us to walk your workflow with you.
Is TraceIT a CMMS?
No. TraceIT doesn't do work orders or preventive-maintenance scheduling. It's the accountability layer for indirect spend, the record of what you have, where it is, who moved it, and what it cost. Many customers run it alongside a CMMS or ERP.
Do floor workers need licenses or logins?
No. Workers use the self-service kiosk with just their employee ID. Pricing is per tracked unit, never per user.
Is our data isolated, and can TraceIT staff see it?
Every organization is isolated with row-level security enforced at the database, and every action lands in an immutable audit log. TraceIT staff can only enter through an audited support console that is view-only by default; edit access requires a stated reason, and every support action is recorded with dual attribution, visible in your audit trail.
